Pitch To Us
RightsInfo is always on the lookout for compelling story pitches and new contributors.
We’re seeking exclusive stories about the latest human rights issues in the UK.
Our aim is to highlight the voices of those whose human rights are most affected, putting their voices at the centre of our coverage. To this end, we’re interested in commissioning human interest pieces and long-form storytelling.
We’re also keen to highlight data, figures or information which tells people something new.
RightsInfo is committed to diversity and we welcome contributions from people belonging to groups marginalised by society and underrepresented within the mainstream media coverage.
As a multimedia platform, we value pitches that could allow us to produce original video, photography, illustrations, animations, maps, audio or interactive graphics.
We have a budget for commissioning stories but as a small start-up, it is not as big as we would like it to be right now. Please do not be offended if we don’t take your idea on this time – we’re hoping our pot of funding will grow in future.
Please complete our online form to send us a short pitch of 300 words maximum.

You can also contact us through our platforms on Twitter and Facebook – we do ask that people communicate with kindness at all times – and we’ve developed a set of social media house rules to help with that.
